Kieron Boothe is a British rapper and Illustrator hailing from East London. ‘Phone Down’ is the first single from his upcoming EP ‘Views From The Bottom’. With artwork by the man himself. Away from the rest of the herd, Kieron is thriving in his own lane as he makes his distinct stamp on the UK Rap scene. Kieron showcases his range with the downtempo single, bridging the gap between Alternative Rap, Lofi and Jazz, ‘Phone Down’ combines smooth samples with reeling lyricism and further demonstrates his ability to write personally yet playfully.

“After a long conversation with Cotton about where I was at in life and what I was looking for in a relationship, ‘Phone Down’ was written in one afternoon. Something very different for me because I don’t tend to open up and make many love songs and it ended up being my favourite on the project.”

Raised in Newham, East London, with family ties in Jamaica (his grandfather is a cousin of reggae legend Ken Boothe), Kieron started rapping at the young age of 11, first emerged on the scene in 2012 and has dropped a total of seven projects since. Not one to shy away from collaborations Kieron has worked with the likes of KeepVibesNear, ebdl, Nikhil Beats and Morgan Lorelle who all compliment his experimental style. He has further contributed to the first volume of The Silhouettes Project (his song “No Peace” has generated over 3 million streams). What many might not know is that Kieron’s creative flair doesn’t stop at music, he’s also an applauded illustrator with co-signs from the likes of Idris Elba, KSI and Giggs to name a few. Graduating in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London has given Kieron the advantage of being able to produce branding and marketing material for his own releases as well as other artists including Jords, Shae Universe and V9, Kieron's days are split between music and drawing with his best work being creating when he lets things flow freely.
